Hampton Recreation's 260-yard driving range is the perfect place to dial in your swing — whether you're a weekend warrior shaking off the winter rust or a seasoned golfer looking for a relaxed place to practice. Surrounded by trees with both grass and mat tees available, it's a driving range that actually feels good to be at.
Don't have clubs? No problem — we provide them free of charge. Just show up and swing.

Good to Know
The driving range opens as early in the spring as the weather allows and runs through the end of the camping season. Hours may vary — call ahead or check in at the Front Office if you're making a special trip.

When is the driving range open? The driving range is now open for the 2026 season.
What are the hours of operation? Weekdays — 4:00pm to 7:00pm Weekends — 12:00pm to 7:00pm
Do I need to call ahead? For a casual visit, no. If you're coming with a larger group or want to confirm conditions, feel free to give us a call before you head out.

Where do I go when I arrive? Check in at the Front Office — they'll get you set up with balls and clubs if needed.
Is there somewhere to grab a drink or a snack? Yes — the canteen on site has cold beverages, ice cream, and snacks. The Hampton Brewing Company taproom is also right next door if you want to make a proper afternoon of it.
Is there parking on site? Yes, parking is available on site.

How many people are allowed per tee? One person per tee area at a time.
Where are practice swings allowed? Practice swings are permitted in tee areas only.
Can I walk in front of the mat area? No — no one is permitted in front of the mat area for any reason while the range is in use.
Are children allowed on the range? Yes, but an adult must be present and take responsibility for children at all times.
Is food or drink allowed on the mats? Drinking and smoking on the mats are not permitted.
What happens during a lightning storm? Please depart the driving range immediately and seek shelter. Safety comes first — no exceptions.on
